Hi, we are Nathan and Charity.
We’ve created a lot of school programs. Here’s how we can help you:
We both grew up homeschooled, and went on to earn our degrees in education. We’ve taught hundreds of students in public and private schools over the last 17 years, as well as homeschooled our own children. And Nathan has also been a school administrator for the past 12 years.
Through these teaching and school leadership experiences, we have learned what works and what doesn’t, how to assess a student, how to choose a great curriculum, and how to set up a successful learning environment.
But along the way, we have also discovered that you, as the parent, are the MOST influential teacher in your child’s life! Many parents have come to us for guidance on how to teach their children at home.
That’s why we created School Unboxing. School can be unboxed! We believe education does not have to happen in a certain environment in a certain room at a certain address. And, your family's homeschool does NOT have to fit into someone else’s box!
Children are naturally curious and love to learn. We view our role as parents as being guides who give our children the tools they need to explore the world around them as they prepare for their future.
